Mulleres do Rural. Castroverde. 2020
This piece is the result of a mural painting workshop organised by the association A Chave das Noces for children from 5 to 12 years old, in which I was asked to deal with the issue of gender equality.
As it is a rural town, I approached the issue from the role of women in rural Galicia. The image shows different tasks related to agriculture, livestock or forestry, carried out by women. The figures are cut out on a background of plant motifs painted by the children.
